Hilton Enters Multi Billion Dollar Health Tourism Market with Fitness Hotel Rooms

Guests opting for Hilton’s Five Feet to Fitness rooms stay healthy and in shape with state of the art exercise equiptment and guided workouts

When travelers book hotel rooms, they often look for certain comforts such as a pool, restaurant or bar or spa facility. One of the most popular features hotel guests traditionally value is a gym. Whether people are traveling for business or pleasure, many often don’t want to leave their workouts at home.

For the past five years, Hilton has made individualized workout options available in some of their locations. They were just getting off the ground when the pandemic hit, which first limited then shut down travel. Although now that vaccinations are availble in most places and many people are beginning to cautiously explore travel options for work or vacation, there are still concerns about catching the virus. This plus being required to wear a mask in hotel public areas have led to some travelers being reluctant to use a hotel gym. At the same time, this has made Hilton’s Five Feet to Fitness rooms all the more popular.
