I think the other thing that is hard is when we come into contact with people who tend to reverse themselves. So at one point they are filled with negative emotions related to someone or a situation. They rant and rave about how horrible they are or it is and you do your best to respond to that. The next thing you know something has happened and all of sudden they reverse their feelings so now they believe the person or situation is really positive and they go on and on about how great they are it is without recognizing they were just saying the opposite just before. I find that my own experience of their emotions doesn’t reverse as quickly and there is a period I feel both the negative and positive ones while I’m trying to make sense of what has happened.
