Thank you for reminding me about this. I felt I wrote a "whiny" article recently about the new fellowship program which I got an invitation I to but since it went to spam I didn't see it until it was a few days past due. They wouldn't make an exception though I more than met the criteria for inclusion and now have said they won't be including any more writers. So, what was at first a less than fair system, with those in MPP able to monetize and those in countries without stripe not able to do so, and in the MPP writers who don't pay able to earn from those who do, now there's also the fellowship program which gives a tiny handful of writers guaranteed income in addition to what they earn. Where is all that money coming from and why hasn't it been offered previously or spread around more? Don't mean to be a kveych but the system should work for everyone nor just a small handful of writers who were already in the 1% for earnings.
