Thanks for the reply Helen. Just a bunch of bad luck. I'm not sure how many are still making basepay on NB but I was cut. Medium invited me to apply for their fellowship but I was dealing with family stuff and didn't see it until a few days after it was due. So it's going to be a lean three months.
