Thanks for your well reasoned and measured reply. Again I agree with you, but I have seen too many comments which are clearly not really addressing the piece itself or only tangentially and seem to be much more a reflection of what someone might be dealing with but which is also aggressively negative. While they may be hurting and this type of thing may be healing for them, I just think that so long as we have free will and know what we are doing that, that going through something traumatic doesn’t give us the right to lash out at others especially publicly. You are right in terms of having empathy for others and being understanding as well as working on not letting others anger us. Thanks again for the debate.
