The problem is how they define "extra". First of all, they should be giving us every extra dollar not cent. But even then, they will define extra as, after high salaries are paid, after bonuses are paid, after operating costs are paid, after they've set aside a certain amount for any number of other expenses, then they'll worry about us. Plus, unless things have drastically changed while I was gone, the model is still based on subscription fees. So, we only earn a percentage of the $5 fee a month for stories that were read by subscribers. So the number of reads to earn anything significant is enormous.
