This piece goes from one end of the spectrum to the other. Most of it is making the last days of a condemned man which most would see as depressed and despondent beautiful, him appreciating everything, taking joy in everything. Then the end comes and it seems a total reversal. I couldn’t imagine how you’d end this but it was really well done.
