Unfortunately, sometimes this happens. I can't imagine any writer who doesn't have this occur from time to time and while sometimes you can figure the reason, more often it seems like a random occurrence. I really doubt Ev Williams takes offense at such minor reactions. I'm sure he's used to it, plus I'm sure he realizes that not everyone will always be in favor of his decisions. Don't worry about it. Your numbers will recover.
