Yes, mine too. Especially in situations when I can see I really should recognize the person and just have no clue. I usually try to fake it and see if I can elicit something from them to help me figure out who they are. I try “How are things going?” hoping that there will be something they told me in the past that I’m asking about. Of “How have you been?” I agree the causation probably goes in all directions and each acts on the other. The more anxious I feel the more introverted I get etc. Thanks for reading and weighing in.
